We live on a family farm in rural south central Missouri in the area our families have lived for several generations. Our Dachshunds are members of that family and get only the best care and attention possible. They are talked to and petted quite often.

We constructed a  building near our house,  just for our Dachshunds and their puppies,  where they can always get in and out of the cold into a climate controlled facility.  It is heated and AC.  They have it pretty good there. We made it close to the house, so that we can easily look out and see that everything is okay. Yet with the use of doggie doors and fenced in areas our Dachshunds can also access the outdoors to run, play and enjoy a sunny day.  Please think seriously about purchasing a puppy and make sure that you do want one.  They are like a newborn child and requires lot of attention, esp. at first getting them used to you and you to them and housebreaking them and they need lot of TLC.  Some are easier housebreak than others.  A lot of the time they get used to a doggie door to go in and out before they leave here, and usually that helps in housebreaking.

Each of our dogs is well cared for by a trained and licensed Vet and we  have a  puppy guarantee that we encourage all potential buyers to read before purchasing a puppy with us.  If you are purchasing a puppy from us, please print out the guarantee for you to keep.

  We can microchip the puppy with AVID microchip for an additional 10.00.  You can call AVID at 1 800 336 2843 to request the paperwork to have it transferred to your name.  It will cost 18.50 to do that.

The puppies are usually ready to go by the time they are 8 weeks old.  If less than that and you want us to hold them, we require at least 100.00 dep., usually non refundable unless something happens to them here....  The remainder must be paid in full at least one week prior to ship date.  We will accept a personal check if they are less than 5 weeks old.  After that, we ask that you send either Postal Money Order or PayPal.  After 5 weeks old, please no personal checks, as that would only delay shipping, so please dont put us in that position.   If you are picking up the puppy, you are ask to either bring CASH or US Postal Money order for the balance.  All payments using US Postal Service, UPS, etc needs to be sent SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION REQUESTED.  That is a safety for both you and ourselves.   Thanks

 We fly most of our puppies, but you are also welcome to come pick them up.  We usually try to meet you in town,  where it would be easier to find us.  When flying, we have shippers that take them to the airport for us.  They take very good care of them on the trip there, making sure they have feed and water.  They stay with them until they have flown out.  The prices for shipping is usually 200.00-250.00, depending on where you are located.   We can fly into Alaska and Canada.  They are usually the higher price.   MOST of the lower 48 are 200.00- 225.00.   They come with a bag of feed,  and they will be up to date on shots and wormers..  You are welcome to ask questions.   We try to please !!
