GUARANTEE & PUPPY INFORMATION

Your new puppy has arrived, you are now responsible for him/her. Please make sure you take the puppy to your vet within two weeks of arrival for a health check and to get your puppy established on a schedule with your vet. This will also make your health guarantee with your puppy valid. You MUST send us your statement of validation and a photocopy of the vet statement, with your puppy's microchip, if microchiped, listed on it by your vet within two weeks of arrival, in order to validate the guarantee.. If you stand behind your puppy and take care of it, we will stand behind our guarantee. We give 3 months congentital guarantee on problems of the heart, hips, and lungs. We will give a one year guarantee for the same problems “IF” you send the paper from your Vet within the two weeks and order and give him/her the NuVet vitamins, that we highly recommend. There is a sample of them in with the papers you have received with your puppy. To order them, call 1 800 474 7044 and use code #33039. We do not refund money on your puppy, but in case of a problem with heart, hips, or lungs, we will let you pick a puppy from the next available litter. You would be asked to pick up or ship as you did with the first puppy. You must call or email us at the first sign of one of those problems, and keep us informed of what is going on. We would require a photocopy of your vet statements, for our vet to concur with your vet on the problem.

We cannot guarantee what the size of the puppy will be. Sometimes, even with small parents, they could weigh more,  coming from past generations.  We can guess at it, but that would be only a guess.  We could even have larger parents and end up with small puppies.  We can tell you about how much the parents are and it could give you an idea on them.

Your puppy will have had at least 2 combo shots when he/she leaves us at 8 weeks or more, and a series of wormers. They need a total of at least 4 combo shots by 16 weeks and a regular wormer schedule set up by your veterinarian. Please remember they are babies and you should refrain from taking them to a lot of new places at first, until they have had the 4 combo shots by 16 weeks, exposing them to other animals whose owners may not have given them all the immunizations, and them becoming unnecessarily sick.  Please remember, that in different geographical areas, different immunizations are required and that we prepare the puppies for requirements in our area.

Sometimes the shipping process and getting to a new home and environment, changing feed, even city water with chlorines and fluorides can cause a puppy to stress and in turn cause them to have diarrhea. If it is a mild case, a tsp of pepto bismol should clear it up. If it is more severe and you see blood in the stool, you will need a stronger medicine from your vet. Please watch for this. ( If you have chlorine and fluorides in the water, please give bottle water for the first few months. If you dont drink the water, dont give it to your puppy either) Our puppies are used to clean water w/no additives and you should keep that in mind with the new puppy.

Our guarantee is between us and the original puchaser only, Our guarantee is not transferable if you resell your puppy or give it away to someone else.  So if you are buying it for a gift, be sure and tell us from the first, in order that we can fix it so that the guarantee can be for the person it is going to.

We do not pay any vet bill or shipping charges you incur with your puppy for any reason. Skin and hair coat is dependant on a good quality dog food and vitamins which are important to your pet. We recommend you use same puppy food we are feeding, BUT if not, please feed a good quality feed and mix it half and half with the food we send with the puppy until our brand of feed is gone.

You are welcome to contact us anytime after you receive your puppy. We love to see pictures of the babies as they grow. We are generally easier to contact by email, but you are welcome to call us.

Thank you so much           EARLENE DENNIS
